1987
Apex Robot Systems Inc is founded in Taipei, Taiwan, by engineer Robin Chang Esq.

1989
Volume manufacture of ST-series sprue pickers commences with focus on large numbers of robots produced at a very low price for the international market. The first Apex robots are sold in the UK and Ireland.
   
1990
Apex becomes market leader in it's domestic market of Taiwan with 10 national distributors. Apex is gaining market share at a good pace in the UK.
1992
Apex opens a new factory in Taichung and volume manufacture of pneumatic 3-axis beam robots commences.
   
1995
Apex is gaining speed fast as a renowned worldwide manufacturer of beam robots and sprue pickers and invests $17 Million US Dollars on CNC machining centres to reduce lead time and costs. Apex is selling more and more beam robots into the UK via it's distribution network.
   
1996
Apex gains ISO 9001 quality standard and becomes the world's fastest manufacturer of robots, with a 7 day lead time from order to delivery.
   
1997
Apex opens it's mainland China office to secure its position as the dominant supplier in the Far East and is also awarded the coveted "Best of Taiwan" contest.
   
1998
All Apex products are granted CE certification from TUV Rheinland, Germany.

Apex launches the SA series single axis CNC robot to the world market.
   
2002
Apex Robot Systems UK opens it's doors in Milton Keynes as the sole importer of Apex products into the UK and Eire.
   
2003
Apex launches the SB series three axis CNC robot to the world market. From experience gained in making our own planetary gearboxes for the beam robots, Apex creates Apex Dynamics Inc to focus on new markets worldwide for high-precision low-backlash servo gearboxes.
   
2004
Apex launches the SC series three axis CNC robot to the world market.
   
2006
Apex Robot Systems UK celebrates becoming the UK market leader for sale of sprue pickers. Apex launches the SE series longitudinal beam robot.
